Joan Evans & Angie Evans Traxinger

A realtor since 1993, Founding Partner and current member of the Board of Directors of Village Associates and lifetime resident of Contra Costa County, Joan brings a unique combination of real estate experience plus first-hand knowledge of the Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill and Alamo communities. Joan grew up in Lafayette, graduated from Acalanes High School and received a BA in Business from San Francisco State University. She and her husband, Larry, have lived in Moraga since 1970, where they raised their two daughters, Laura and Angie.

Angie, a licensed realtor, brings a wealth of information about local schools after 11 years of teaching 2nd grade at Burton Valley in Lafayette. Also a lifetime resident of the area, graduating from Campolindo High School, UC Santa Barbara and St. Mary's College, Angie and her husband Paul keep actively current on what the community offers families as they raise busy four year old Josh. Angie is a member of the Buena Vista Auxiliary which benefits local children's literacy programs.

Active in education, Joan is a founding board member of the Moraga Education Foundation and a current member of the Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga Branch of the American Association of University Women. She is also a graduate of the Realtor Institute (only 4% of agents hold this designation). Angie and Joan are members of the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the Contra Costa Association of Realtors.
